Benito Mussolini Wikipedia summary

Explain this like I am 5:-
Benito Mussolini was an Italian leader who wanted to make Italy powerful. He made laws that favored the wealthy and used violence to scare his opponents. He wanted to control the minds of the people and took away people’s rights. He also invaded some countries and tried to make room for Italian colonists. In the end, he was arrested and executed by Italian partisans.

Explain this in detail in the form of a story:

Benito Mussolini was an Italian politician, journalist, and author who was a prominent socialist before World War I. He changed his views and became a nationalist, supporting Italy’s involvement in the war. He wrote for a newspaper and founded a group called the “Revolutionary Fasces of International Action” to support the war. After the war, he formed a political movement called the Fascists and believed in using political violence. He fought in World War I and after the war, he started a newspaper called Il Popolo d’Italia.
Mussolini wanted Italy to have more land and power, so he worked to make that happen. He became very powerful and important in Italy. He believed that a nation is a history of sentiments, traditions, language, culture, and race and not just a collection of interests. He also believed that the world was divided into different races and that Italy should have a policy of imperialism in Africa because the people there were “inferior” to whites. He and his followers, called the Fascisti, marched on Rome and took control.
Mussolini passed laws that favored the wealthy and used violence to scare his opponents. He made Italy into a one-party state with himself as supreme leader. He closed down many libraries and schools that taught in languages other than Italian. He also started some public construction projects and initiatives to try to reduce unemployment and poverty. He made the trains run on time, but not all the trains were actually on time. He also made it so that only he could decide what the government did and he made it illegal for other political parties to exist.
In Libya, he took away people’s rights and used force to try to stop people from fighting against him. He also signed a treaty with the church called the Lateran Pact which made Catholicism the state religion of Italy and allowed the Church to have authority over marriage and teaching in schools. He also introduced a law called the Manifesto of Race which stripped Jews of their Italian citizenship and forbade relationships between Italians and people of “inferior races”.
Mussolini wanted to form an alliance with Germany instead of Britain and France because he thought Germany was stronger. He wanted to take control of some areas in France and the British Empire, but Britain and France refused. In 1939, Italy joined Germany in a military alliance called the Pact of Steel and they declared war on Britain and France. Italy tried to invade the British Empire in Africa and the Middle East, but the British fought back and the war continued.
In 1940, Mussolini led Italian forces into Egypt, Belgium, Greece, and Yugoslavia. In 1941, they were pushed back in Africa, and in 1943 the Allies invaded Sicily. Mussolini was arrested and the Italian government declared war on Germany. Many Italian troops joined the Allies to fight the Germans, while some chose to switch sides and fight for the Germans. Mussolini was rescued by German soldiers in 1943 and set up a new government called the Italian Social Republic. He was arrested and executed by Italian partisans in 1945.
